NEET UG 2022 seats highlight

Seats in NEET 2022 –

                        According to the data given by MCI and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare about number of medical colleges and number of seats available for the students in NEET UG 2022 ,  it was said that , total number of 612  Medical colleges are  there and total number of seats in NEET 2022 is 91927 . Added 3495 MBBS seats already approved in 16 states. For rest of the states notification for added seats will come very soon . It’s not final as these seats are of old medical colleges . Seats will further increase in existing and new medical colleges when counseling starts.

 

Seats in NEET 2022 will increase more –

                        Under centrally sponsored scheme it was said that 157 New Medical college will open but till now only 72 new Medical colleges opened . It means 157 New medical colleges is approved but only 72 new medical college have started. So 85 more new medical colleges will open and most of them will start taking admission in 2022 only and seats of these new Medical colleges will be added to total. If not all of the remaining 85 new medical colleges start in 2022 ,minimum 50 more new medical colleges will start in 2022 and they will start taking admission for 2022-2023 session. If we add nearly 100 seats for every new medical colleges , almost 5000 more seats will be available for the students in 2022. Why i am saying that almost 50 more out of remaining 85 colleges will start taking admission in 2022 ? This is so ,because Government is in a hurry to start new medical colleges and increase medical seats. Government has seen the scarcity of Doctors in the country at the time of Pandemic.

                 22  New AIIMS has got the approval but till  now only 19 AIIMS have started taking admission. Most probably , rest of the 3 AIIMS will start taking admission for 2022-23 session only . So, seats of remaining 3 AIIMS will be added to total number of seats in 2022 .

                  When final notice will come about the number of seats in NEET 2022 at the time of counseling ,  final number of seats will be known. 

Present data of 612 medical colleges and 91927 seats is based on the data given by Minister of Health and Family Welfare . In Lok Sabha in reply of starred question of Dr. Heena Gavil and Dr. Shrikant Eknath Sinde , the Minister of Health and Family welfare Dr. Mansukh Mendaviya gave information about number of medical colleges and number of seats in Medical colleges for NEET UG 2022 .

                                                 In last 5 years almost 25000 total seats increased and govt. focus is to promote medical education. So  this year or next year almost this much seat will increase.

                        For  NEET 2022 seats of these categories will be announced once the councelling starts .In All India seat category , number of seats in 2022 will be approximately 7500.

 

      NEET-2022 seats will be allotted on 2 quotas- All India Quota and State Quota.

• 15 % seats are allotted for all India quotas in which students of any particular state can apply for admission in any state/UT of India.
• Rest 85% will be filled by state quota. All the States will have their own counseling process.
• All deemed colleges, private colleges, Armed Medical colleges, BHU, AMU, will be available for admission through NEET-2022 counseling.
• Under 15% AIQ all veterinary colleges seats will also be filled.

        For Economically weaker section (EWS) 10% seats in all government medical colleges will be reserved.

       Total 192 colleges in different states will be available for all India Quota seats

 NEET 2022 – 50% private college seats on Govt. Fee

                         NEET 2022 brought happiness for aspirants as addition of more seats in old and new medical colleges  and fees of 50% seats in private medical colleges will be same as fees of government medical colleges . Now the students who could not get Govt. seats and have enough marks ,  will study in good Private Medical College at government fee.

       In private medical colleges fee is very high (around 50 lakhs to 80 lakhs) . So it is very tough for the middle class students to take admission in these private medical colleges.Now due to the government decision, 50% of private medical college seats will be available at government medical college fee (around 2.5 to 4.5 lakhs ) for entire term.Some state already gave instruction to private medical colleges to give their 50% seats on Govt. fee. 

                     Students of All India rank of 40000 may also get Government medical college in NEET UG 2022-

   Due to increase in MBBS seats in Government medical colleges ,students having all India rank of around 40000 can get seat in Government medical colleges .This year cut off for General, OBC and EWS will be around 580-590 marks due to increased seats.

     To download answer keys , just go to official website of NEET which is https://neet.nta.nic.in.

Now click on the link which is NEET official answer key 2022.

Now when you will see the official answer key , you just open the answer key of your question paper code.

Now match your answer key with the official answer key and calculate your marks.

Out of total number of seats in NEET 2022, 15% of All India quota seats will be allotted by MCC and remaining 85% state seats will be allotted by different state counseling bodies.

                                   NEET result will be declared by August 15^th 2022 and release of seat matrix list for round one of All India quota seats by September 10^th 2022.

 

                          NEET seats for 2022 has been declared by MCI and ministry of Health and Family welfare.

                   Top states according to NEET seats are TN – 10725, KN – 10145 , Maharashtra -9895 and UP -9053 .
