NEET UG 2022 result is out ; Scorecard link ,Cutoff , Toppers and MCC Counseling

On 7th of September 2022 National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the result of NEET UG- 2022. 9.93 Lakhs of candidates qualified the exam.  This year Pass percentage is 56.28 as almost 17.64 lakhs candidates appeared in NEET- UG 2022 exam. whereas 18.72 lakhs students registered for this exam.

This year 4 students scored exactly same 99.9997733 percentile but due to the new rule NTA did not give them the joint first rank. As per the new tie breaker policy Tanishka from Rajasthan got the first rank, Vatsa  Ashish Batra got the second rank , Hrishikesh Nagabhushan Gangule and Rucha Pawashe got 3rd and 4th rank. Tanishka is the first OBC candidate to Top the exam since 2017 when NEET exam started.


 

Tiebreaking rule of NTA in NEET UG 2022 –

This year NTA has declared some tiebreaking rules if 2 or more candidate score same in the exam .Rules will be given priority in descending order i.e. It 2 candidate score same marks, candidate who fulfill criteria will be given upper rank.   If rule-1  is not deciding , candidate who fulfill rule-2 will get higher rank and so on.

Rules are as follows:

  1. Candidate who scores more in Biology.
  2. Candidate who scores more in Chemistry
  3. Candidate who score more in Physics.
  4. Candidate whose percentage of correct answer in comparison to wrong answer is more.
  5. Candidate who has less wrong answer in Biology.
  6. Candidate who has less wrong answer in Chemistry.
  7. Candidate who has less wrong answer in Physics.
  8. Candidate who is elder.

     Re exam was conducted on some centers-

A re examination was conducted on 4th of September for the candidate who have  suffered due to mismanagement on 17th of July 2022. Re-exam was conducted on kollan,  Nagpur, Bhind, Begusarai, Thane, Srigaganagar, Kushinagar and Hushangabad.

This year 1476024 candidates appeared in the exam with English Language,   258827 with Hindi language and 137492 with regional language. Out of 763545 male appeared candidates, 429160 qualified and out of 1001015 female appeared candidates 563902 qualified.

NEET 2022 Result:- Process to check and process to download scorecard-

  1. Go to NTA official website https://neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Check NEET-UG 2022 Result
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth
  4. NEET Result 2022 will appear
  5. Now Download the result and save it or take it’s printout.

After NEET UG-2022 Result out, now students will be able to register for MCC counseling process. The registrations for round 1 counseling will start soon.

         Counseling process steps:-

  1. At first aspirants have to register, upload the document and pay the fee.
  2. Document verification will be there.
  3. Now process of choice filling and locking will be there.
  4. Seat will be allotted to aspirants.
  5. One has to confirm the seat.
  6. The aspirants have to report to allotted college.

       NEET UG 2022-  15% All India Quota seats information

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India has the responsibility to do the counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats. Deemed Universities, Central Universities, ESIC and AFMC Seats, BHU and AMU . Candidates have to apply for the All India Quota seats according to the direction given by DGHS. Counseling process will stop once the seats get executed.

Candidates have to apply to their domicile state as per their merit list for state quota seats and other seats which is conducted by state counseling authority.
