JEE Advanced 2022 Examination
The joint entrance by seven zonal coordinating IITs under the guidance of the joint Admission Board 2022 (JAB 2022). The performance of the students appearing in JEE Advanced- 2022 will decide their admission in all the IITs.
Schedule of JEE (Advance)- 2022
There will be 2 papers (Paper I and Paper II) of 3 hours each. Students have to appear in both the papers.

Criteria to appear for JEE Advanced- 2022
Criteria for admission
- Performance in JEE (Main) 2022:- Candidates should be among the top 250000 successful candidates in Phase I and Phase II total number of candidates. These 250000 top candidates will be combined top 250000 candidates of Phase I and Phase II JEE Main 2022.

Remaining 40.5 % is open to all .Within each of these categories 5% horizontal reservation is there for PwD candidates.
AGE LIMIT
Candidates birth date should be October 1, 1997 or after.
Due to 5 years age relaxation to SC, ST candidates birth date should be October 1, 1992 or after.
Number of attempts
Maximum 2 attempts is available for any category candidates. These 2 attempts should be used in 2 consecutive years.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022 on the basis of Class XII or equivalent exam.-
Candidate should have appeared in class XII or equivalent exam. in 2021 or 2022 for the very first time. Their subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Special Relaxation:-
- Candidate who appeared in class 12th In 2020/2021 and registered for JEE (Advance) 2021 but did not appear in that exam.in both the papers are eligible to directly appear for JEE Advanced 2022.
- Candidate who appeared in class 12th in 2020 for the first time and base appeared once for JEE (Advanced) in 2020 or 2021 and have cut off marks of top 250000 successful candidate in 2022 can appear in 2022 JEE Advanced. The special relaxation is due to Pandemic.
Online Registration for JEE (Advanced)-2022

Instruction regarding payment of registration fee will be provided at the time of online registration for JEE Advanced-2022 on online registration portal.
Documents Required for Registration:
- Birth Certificate or Class X certificate mentioning date of Birth.
- Class XII or equivalent exam. certificate of those candidates who passed/appeared in 2021/2022.
- Class XII or equivalent certificate for those candidates who appeared first time in board exam. in 2020 and eligible to appear in JEE advanced 2022 due to special relaxation mentioned above.
Admit card for JEE (Advanced)-2022:
After registering successfully ,students can download their admit card between 23rd August to 28th August- 2022 from online portal https:jeeadv.ac.in
Admit card will contain Name, Roll Number, Photograph, Signature, Date of birth, Category,, Address of examination center.
Candidates should check all their details mentioned on admit card.
In casé of any discrepancy they should contact chairperson of JEE (Advanced)- 2022 of their zonal coordinating IIT.
Question Paper:
In JEE (Advanced)-2022 exam. 2 question papers- Paper I and Paper II of 3 hrs. each will be there. These question Papers containing Physics, Chemistry, Maths subject. Questions will be there to test reasoning and analytical ability and comprehension.
Negative marks will be there for incorrect answers for some of the questions. Details of negative marks will be given in instructions of question paper. The question paper will be English or Hindi language.
Mode of Exam.:
The JEE (Advanced)- 2022 examination will be conducted in online mode only. Students can take online mock tests to practice this online mode on https:jeeadv.ac.in
Answer Keys:
At first JEE Advanced- 2022 Provisional answer key for both the paper will be displayed. Students can submit their feedback for this provisional answer key on the candidate portal.
After seeing the feedback given by candidates, final answer key will be displayed.
